Academic Success Center

The Academic Success Center is your one-stop shop for all your tutoring needs. We help with everything from algebra to welding - math, chemistry, biology, english, history - you take it, we tutor it. The Academic Success Center can also assist students that are unfamiliar with technology and/or online learning tools. We will be happy to help you navigate Canvas, Zoom, Google apps, or any other technologies that may be used throughout the semester.

Need a Tutor?

You may schedule a tutoring session by submitting an online request or by visiting either of our tutoring locations. We also do walk-in tutoring subject to availability. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact our office.

Tutoring services are FREE to all New River Community College students.

Online Tutoring

Online tutoring is available during office hours. Online tutoring is also available outside of scheduled business hours upon request and approval.

When participating in online tutoring you check your email for an invitation to join a ZOOM meeting. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact our office.
